Birmingham based band 1EYE, have already supported ‘UB40’, Beverley Knight, and ‘Toots and the Maytals’. Creating a buzz within industry circles, 1EYE have just released their debut single ‘Worries & Trouble’ feat. Apache Indian on 31st August 2009.
The group have blended a multitude of flavours creating a barrel of an album entitled ‘Whiskey Business’ which is a distinctive mix of reggae, Latin, and soul. The album is lyrically entertaining making quirky references to life in Birmingham and beyond.
1EYE has made a feature length documentary covering their journey from producing the album in a pub cellar, promoting the band in Cannes to performing the material in its entirety at their first album showcase. The documentary is also entitled ‘Whiskey Business’.
